This current body of work documents a floral design project for a November wedding. The design includes color theory to match the time of year. The colors included hues of yellow, white, orange, and red. These were chosen because of the similar colors in leaves that begin to fall in the months of September to November. The bouquets were arranged by size so that the bride’s bouquet was larger than the bridesmaids and was identifiable if used on the tables for more arrangements.

The colors are spread throughout all four pieces to keep the design unified with some differences with more greenery in the table centerpiece and the bride’s bouquet. The lighting during New England’s end of fall, beginning of winter season is also used to compliment the pieces. The outdoor setting for the bouquet photos as well as the table setting helps highlight the natural colors in the flowers as well as their tones in the setting sun. The overall work completes a cohesive design to highlight the beauty of a fall wedding.
